Defining happily ever after

Decided I needed to start a blog with a bit of a broader mission! My last blog hadn't been active for several years so I decided a fresh start was a good idea. I've labeled it our happily ever after because it is constantly changing. It is what we find joy in. It is what we find frustration in. It is our faith in Christ to see us through it all. It is the mess of life (literally poop, vomit, and blood included...you've been warned)! It is my attempts at sewing and Paul's photography. It is the adventures of our baby girl Claire discovering the world for the first time and our toddler Peter asking "What is that?" over and over and over.

So who are we? Paul is a photographer, music teacher, choir member, cook, brother, son, husband, and father. Lots of different hats right? I am a sewer, writer, reader, sister, mediator, daughter, wife, and mom. Peter is a 3 year old with A LOT of energy. Like singing-in-his-room-at-8-PM-because-he-doesn't-want-to-sleep energy. He loves anything to do with construction sites, reading, and playing outside. Claire is our newest family member at 6 months old. She's a tiny thing only in 5th percentile of weight but she's already going places and talking up a storm!

So welcome to our family I hope you find us dysfunctionally entertaining and enjoy our journey in defining "happily ever after"!
